What will you do

As a Sales Engineer Software you play an important role in the tender process. You will be responsible for analyzing requirements and risk in tenders and delivering high quality software proposals. Together with the tender team, you will strive for improving our tender processes and practices. You will continuously keep a close eye on the market demand and will advise software department on changing requests and new software requirements.


A selection of your tasks:

  • Analysing/assessing software specific requirements in tenders.
  • Analysing/assessing software specific risks in tenders.
  • Preparing and maintaining (software specific) offer documentation.
  • Staying up to date with the market demand
  • Advising the Software department on changing requests from customers and new software requirements
  • Discussing the development roadmap with the software development department and proposing new software features accordingly.
  • Keeping non-technical colleagues informed about software-specific updates, features and packages.
  • Creating a method to deliver software specific information in a well-structured manner
  • Keeping a good relationship with software suppliers and gathering new information about their software.

You are:

You like being part of the team, and at the same time you also are an independent flexible self-starter. You are a strong analytical thinker. You are proactive and want to know all about new technologies. You are self-motivated and passionate about the job you do. You take initiative in your team and for your responsibilities.


Required qualifications and experience

  • Bachelor/Master degree, Software related
  • 2+ years’ experience in a high-tech environment
  • Experience with electric vehicles and charging stations
  • OCPP1.6J/2.0 and V2G is preference
  • Experience with developing code in C and C++ for Embedded Linux
  • Knowledge of the software development methodologies like scrum and agile
  • Affinity with multidisciplinary knowledge in the field of electronics
  • Fluent in English.


Additional preferred experience/competencies:

  • Ability to adapt quickly to new requirements and know how to prioritize them yourself.
  • Ability to promptly understand new software related architectures, designs, and decisions
  • Ability to translate software concept descriptions into understandable non-technical descriptions.
  • Mentality focused on seeing possibilities instead of problems


We offer you:

  • salary between EUR 3500,- and EUR 4000,- gross per month (fulltime), depending on your experience and competences;
